Electrical Water Pageant
On Tuesday night, January 31st, we walked down to the marina/beach at 9:30 p.m. Every night they have the Electrical Water Pageant which is a nightly display that makes the circuit around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake resorts. It goes by Fort Wilderness at approximately 9:45 p.m. Consisting of two strings of seven barges, each carries a 25-foot tall screen of lights, the pageant features King Triton and creatures from under the sea – turtles, whales, seahorses and a sea monster. The parade is set to “Under the Sea” and the crocodile’s theme from Peter Pan and other music. Then there’s a salute with Flags and Stars with a musical medley including God Bless America, Yankee Doodle and You’re a Grand Old Flag. The entire show lasts only about 15 minutes but since it was such a nice night, sitting on the beach watching the show was pretty cool!
In fact it was so nice, we ended up walking down to it again on Wednesday night!
Here are a couple of videos of the pageant:

The electric water pageant pictures were “awesome”. Seeing it in person and up close must have been even “more awesome”.
