Our nephew Christopher who lives in the Chicagoland area recently won an award in the ‘creativity’ area for his Cub Scout pinewood derby car. He modeled his car after the Chris Craft Commander series boats.

Dad did most of the cutting, and he did most of the sanding and painting.  They wanted to add details like a ships wheel, pilot, antenna, radar, etc, but ran out of time. Chris was thrilled to be acknowledged and earn a trophy for this!

He named the boat “Chris’s Craft”. Looks like if he ever gets his own boat the often difficult task of picking out a good name is already done!
