2023 A Summer Of Highs And Lows
A lot of stuff changed in our lives during the spring, summer and fall of 2023. It’s tough to lay it all out in an easy to follow way, because some of the events spanned weeks or months and are intertwined with other events. Below is a brief summary and timeline. Lows

- April 4 – I (Linda) was scheduled for two hospital procedures to try and mitigate my A-fib.
- May 6 – Rob’s 94 year old father Bob, passed away peacefully after a fall and a relatively short stint in rehab.
- Jun 24 – Our sweet little kitty Sparky passed away peacefully at home on the coach.
- September 11 – Our boat Quantum Leap was sold and sailed away by the new owners.
Highs

- May 12 – Rob’s fathers Celebration of Life was a happy reunion with family and friends and a meaningful celebration of Bob’s many contributions during his life.
- May 23 – My (Linda) Cardio Ablation procedure was successful at regulating my A-fib.
- June 20 – We began the process of looking for a new boat.
- June 21 – Completing Quantum Leap projects becomes a full time job.
- July 20 – The boat purchase process – it has it’s own set of high and lows!
- August 14 – Did we or didn’t we?
- August 21 – I (Linda) had cataract surgery and got brand new eyes.
- September 11 – Our old boat Quantum Leap was put on the market and sold in just a few days.
Very busy year for you two, we are sorry about Rob’s father but sounds like he had a very long and full life.
We will miss Sparky; he was a great family member.
Our paths will cross one of these days, in the meantime, every time I use your power washer, I think of you two!
